Soccer

Ava started soccer class in September.  To everyone's surprise she insisted she wanted to do soccer rather than dance (even when she learned they discourage wearing tutus), and was not deterred when the class was filled primarily with boys, who can be a little rowdy.  I might not be on board with letting my kids choose their own clothes (I commend you moms who walk around with a little person wearing red, pink and purple - and that's only on their upper half! - but I figure she needs to learn the proper clothing choices at some point; I might as well not suffer in the mean time!) but I am all for her choosing the activities in which she wants to participate.  We'd like her exposed to the gamut of extracurriculars until she is at an age when she narrows what she wants to focus on.

So for now, it's soccer!
